"We are pleased to collaborate with Door and leverage their innovative technology to streamline and augment our information gathering process," Jon Proudfoot, Investment Director at Affinity said. "Moreover, the integration of the ACT Framework into our due diligence will enable us to expand our analysis and understanding of fund managers’ corporate culture and approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion – elements of our research which we place great importance on.”
From the beginning of May 2023, Affinity will be using Door to digitalise more of its research on fund managers and their investment products. The adoption of Door’s technology will help ensure the robust and timely receipt of critical information with respect to funds’ investment procedures, operational governance, sustainability and diversity.
Door’s exclusive delivery of City Hive’s ACT Framework - an industry reporting standard which provides insights into corporate culture and policies surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion – was another key motivation for Affinity’s adoption of the system. Affinity places high importance on firm culture within their investment decisions and view the ACT Framework initiative as a significant step towards a more equitable and inclusive investment landscape.
Rob Sanders, Door CEO said, “Door is looking forward to having Affinity on board. As the common network of Door users grows our clients will see even greater efficiencies on both sides. It is great to have even more firms supporting the ACT Framework – an initiative we are passionate about and proud to support.”
