If you watched the Oscars, you will be aware the opening routine of the show involved the host, Seth Macfarlane, performing a song and dance number about the films in which highly respected actresses showed off a bit more than their finest acting skills. The title of the song was "We Saw Your Boobs". This was not well received by the public and critics alike – and rightly so, on a whole host of different levels - nor was the closing song, “Here’s to the Losers”, a musical salute to those who came out on the short end of the Oscar stick. Sandwiched between these two forgettable routines were the winners and it was great to see Daniel Day Lewis and Adele flying the flag for Britain.
